Favorite Notebook & Pen

Since before I can remember, I have always loved to write. I love pretty notebooks, pen and paper. As a child, I used to take a JC Penny Catalog and write down everything I would buy if I was rich. Everything from sheets to clothing, houseware, beauty items, you name it! When I was done, I really enjoyed looking back at my list!

The adult version of my writing past time has turned into planning – writing down how I (will) spend my time, my priorities for the week/month, my financial/profession goals and tasks, everything. I like to write it all down so I can “look back at it.”

My notebook of choice is by Louis Vuitton. I buy (or request them as gifts) because I like the way the look and that they add a luxurious feel to my planning / writing process. My pen of choice is a rollerball by Swarovski. I have the gold one now; but, since my new rainbow-inspired LV notebook has silver foil, I think I will add the silver on to my collection as well!

Holiday Want List

2020 is almost here and there’s no better way to round out the year than with a wish list. For the FIFTH year in a row, I’m sharing my “want list”. This years list items from a few of my favorite / luxury brands across multiple categories. #treatyoself !!! And Enjoy!

LAGOS anything … jewelry $$$$

This brand is amazing. From bracelets, to necklaces, earrings and now Apple Watch bands, LAGOS screams luxury!

DRUNK ELEPHANT skincare $$

Pick anything from this popular skincare line and you can’t go wrong. Their vitamin C serum has been my go to for sometime.

UGG & Barefoot Dreams for cozy apparel $$$

I lumped these two brands together because when I think about staple pieces for the winter, they are my go to. Ugg for the boots (DUH) and actually both brands have AMAZING throws (as in blankets). Barefoot Dreams also has wonderful loungewear.

Sugar Paper holiday wrapping $

Love their designs and color combinations! There’s really nothing more to say. You can find this brand at Target

Favorite Planner Shops

If you’re a #plannergirl like me, this post is just for you! I’ve shared my planner setup before (see Louis Vuitton GM/Large Agenda Setup); but, today I thought I would share my new favorite (shops). All shops notes below are ran by women and made in the U.S.A. 🇺🇸

 

Preferred: My first love was SessaVee (instagram). I ABSOLUTELY LOVE her clean design, font selection, spacing and how she uses variable line width to make certain sections of her inserts pop. Unfortunately, product availability is SUPER sketchy so I no longer use this shop’s selection as the anchor in my planner. She now has printables on Etsy but I’m SSSOOO  not into doing that. PS…. I wish she would bring back the originals!!!!

I am signed  up  for  Sessa Vee’s product  launch  announcement  and  am  hoping  for  the  best!  🤞🏽Actual Inserts (New): 8Lotus  (instagram) is a new shop for me. The designs are classic, chic and minimalist. The packaging is great, flexible layouts and the line spacing is phenomenal.

 

Other Goodies: Cloth & Paper hands down for stickers and sticky notes – they are gorgeous. I also LOVE her yearly calendars and dividers!!!! I can’t use her planner inserts or note paper because the lines are TOO WIDE! They are beautiful but when I used them I feel like hooked on phonics, like I have to write super big to fill the space. Valuable room is being wasted here! Also, the time on the dailies only go until 10 pm. #bummer (if you’re listening, please offer college rule, thanks!!!)

I also like Minted Sugar (instagram) for their pink (textured) line paper. I use this for specialty things… planning a vacation, packing list, special occasions, etc.
