Women’s Health

healthDid you know it was National Women’s Health Week? This week comes with an array of healthy recommendations:

  • Visit a health care professional to receive regular checkups and preventive screenings.

  • Get active.

  • Eat healthy.

  • Pay attention to mental health, including getting enough sleep and managing stress.

  • Avoid unhealthy behaviors, such as smoking, texting while driving, and not wearing a seatbelt or bicycle helmet.

I love the focus on behaviors! Select an area you’d like to improve on and make a conscious effort to take better care of yourself. Each recommendation comes complete with infographics that can easily be printed for reference, or displayed around your home as reminders.
